Sunday Worship
During the school year, we offer on Saturdays at 5PM and Sundays at 10AM. Bible Class for adults is at 9am. Sunday School for children age 3 through Sr. High are offered at 8:45am on Sundays. During the summer months, we offer one traditional service on Sundays at 9:30am and one contempory service on Wednesdays at 7pm.
We follow the various liturgy settings from the Lutheran Service Book. Large Print Hymnals and Assisted Hearing Devices are available each Sunday. Please see an usher or a lay minister on duty for assistance.
For families in need of changing facilities for infants or a quiet pace to be with anxious children, we have a Cry Room at the rear of the church that has visual and sound system connection to worship. Please feel free to use this room during the service.
Choir
The choir meets every Wednesday during the school year at 7pm in the balcony of the church. They sing at alternating services almost every week so everyone can enjoy what they bring to worship. They are led by director Jeff Howey and accompanist Lois Marks. They sing many pieces ranging from hymns to contemporary worship songs. Please contact our secretary, Bunny Hallenbeck, with any questions.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir meets occasionally on Sundays at 9:30am in the Choir Room before the 10am service. Please contact our secretary, Bunny Hallenbeck, with any questions.
Chime Choir
Comprised of about 15 members, the Chime Choir plays hymns and songs for preludes, postludes, and communion. Led by director Lois Marks, our volunteers range in age and skill level, which adds to our fun rehearsals. They meet every Wednesday during the school year at 6pm. Please contact our secretary, Bunny Hallenbeck, with any questions.
Orchestra
Led by conductor Beth Hahn and coordinator Scott Baumer, the Bethany Orchestra plays pieces for preludes and postludes that greatly enchance our worship experience. They meet the first and third Sundays of the month at 11:00am in the nursery room after the service. Please contact our secretary, Bunny Hallenbeck, with any questions.
